You Love Joomla!
Joomla is much more than a content management system. It's a community of enthusiasts whose combined knowledge and expertise make the internet a better place. The Joomla Resources Directory (JRD) is the place to find developers, designers, and integrators that specialize in providing Joomla-based solutions for websites and extension development needs.
Here's what you need to do in order to create a listing in the JRD:
Establish a proven track record
You have to have a proven track record creating Joomla-based solutions.
Get involved in the community
You also have to be actively involved in the Joomla Project.
- Are you part of a Joomla Working Group?
- Have you sponsored or organized a JoomlaDay, a Joomla User Group or some other type of Joomla Event?
- Have you taken part in beta testing or bug squashing?
- Have you contributed documentation or an article to the Joomla Community Magazine?
- Have you created a free extension for the community?
Register for a JRD user account
You'll be emailed an activation link to complete the registration process and activate the account. Once the account is activated, log in to create your Linked Profile and Registered Provider listing.
Create a Registered Provider & Linked Profile listing
Your Registered Provider listing is the primary content that what will appear in the directory. Please note that only Registered Provider listings are searchable and indexed in the directory.
We encourage you to set up your own Linked Profile (for individuals) so you can connect it to your Registered Provider Listing (for your business or organization). The Linked Profile is optional.
Individuals frequently work together in businesses and other organizations, so we have built the JRD to allow you to make these associations. Your Linked Profile, and any other profiles of people with whom you partner with or hire (employees, contractors, partners, etc.) can be associated with your Registered Provider Listing.IMPORTANT: The JRD is not involved in moderating associations. When an link association is made between an individual profile and a Registered Provider listing, both sides of the relationship must be confirmed before the association is published online. Once an association is no longer valid, either the Registered Provider or the Linked Profile owner can cancel the link between the two listings to remove the association from the JRD. As a user, it is your responsibility to reach a mutual agreement in how you make these associations between individual profiles and Registered Provider listings.
Are you an army of one?
If you are freelancer or sole proprietor, it's no problem. Simply create both a Linked Profile and a Registered Provider listing for your services. Your individual Linked Profile can be displayed within your Registered Provider Listing, once you associate the two listings.
Look for notification from the JRD Team
In either case, you can expect to hear back from us with either an approval or an indication of the items preventing approval within 30 days of submitting your information.
