A default Joomla 1.5.26 application uses 5005 inodes and a Joomla 2.5.4 application uses 5946 inodes. That being said you can install and use more than 20 Joomla apps on your shared hosting account. Of course, if you install additional extensions this number will be reduced.

The limitation of 150 000 inodes per account is valid for our shared hosting accounts. This limitation exists in order to prevent the server from overloading and to ensure the quality each customer receives on our shared hosting servers. This limit is actually high enough to have even more than 20 Joomla applications which is quite a big number for a shared hosting account user. We do, however, have more powerful plans with higher or no limitations at all that we could upgrade your account to if you need more inodes than this.
